Congratulations on your upcoming wedding! You may have already given some thought to your wedding photographer, but have you thought about detail shots? Probably not! Detail shots are beautiful images captured by your wedding photographer to help you remember the day and really capture all of the details that you put into your wedding.
One important detail shot your photographer will want to capture is your wedding stationery! Along with your wedding dress, shoes, and rings, your photographer will want to photograph your wedding invitations for you to look back on.
Today, we’re sharing what wedding stationery you need to bring with you to your wedding so your wedding photographer can capture everything and you won’t miss out. Let’s get to it!
Wedding Invitation Suite
Bring two full sets of your wedding invitation suite. The invitation suite includes your wedding invitation, details and accommodation cards, and rsvp card. If you have a back page to any of your stationery, make sure you have at least two copies so you can photograph both sides!
Wedding Envelope and Belly Bands
Bring some wedding envelopes and belly bands! You may also want to bring stamps and have at least one of the envelopes addressed.
Save the Date
Save the dates are a great idea to include in your detail shots! If you have a back page, include two copies so both sides can be photographed.
Other Details
Along with your stationery, you’ll need lots of other items for your detail shots! Here’s what you might want to include:
- Wedding dress and veil
- Wedding shoes
- Jewelry
- Groom’s accessories
- Perfume and cologne
- Rings and ring boxes
- Loose florals
- Vow book
- Something old, new, borrowed, and blue
