With a background in photojournalism and design, my style lives at the intersection of documentary honesty and editorial refinement. That means I’m never asking you to perform, but I am paying attention — to light, texture, tone, and feeling. The way your partner squeezes your hand. The way your veil catches in the wind. The glance your father gives you when he thinks no one’s watching. All infused with an appropriate amount of edge and nostalgia.
The best photos come from how something feels, now how it’s staged. I’ll gently direct when needed, helping you feel confident and at ease, but I’ll never ask you to perform.
For photos that will feel just as beautiful in decades as they do today, I lean into natural tones, creamy highlights, and rich shadows to create images that feel both modern and nostalgic.
A calm and supportive presence, I’m someone who knows when to step in, when to hold space and how to read the room with care. Whether in Michigan or in France, my goal is the same: to help your day feel effortless, fun, and entirely your own.
Photography is a craft, and like any craft, it takes the right tools and know-how. I utilize a mix of digital, film and a drone to capture every moment with honesty and intention. I always come prepared with a plan, backup gear and a range of lighting options to adapt to any environment. I’m as much a professional as I am an artist so you can relax and fully enjoy your wedding without worry.
This work is about more than beautiful photos. It’s about creating a seamless, elevated experience for everyone involved. I show up prepared, communicative, and tuned into the flow of the day, working hand-in-hand with your other creative partners to protect the vision and keep everything moving with ease. You’ll feel it, your team will feel it, and your photos will reflect it.
