Ingrid and Drew spent a summer night on the Detroit riverfront and Belle Isle for their engagement session. Since they live downtown near the riverwalk, it was the perfect way to start their session and involve their pup, Gus in their engagement photos.
We met at Atwater Brewery for a quick before, and then strolled over along the riverwalk where Ingrid and Drew played with Gus and then walked back home, taking photos at the beautiful spots along the way. We spent the second half of the evening on Belle Isle and took in the last hour of daylight at the James Scott Memorial Fountain, the Belle Isle Casino, at the clock tower and under some willow trees. The best of the sunset hid behind the clouds but the golden hour light peaking through while we were at the Casino was stunning.
Once the sun set, Ingrid and Drew changed back into their casual outfit for a few fun, moody blue light photos at Sunset Point. We had such a fun night on the Detroit Riverfront and Belle Isle. These two are such a fun presence and their beautiful, classic tent wedding at Metamora Golf Club was no different!
