Marriage proposals are so fun to photograph and Govi’s proposal to Neha was no exception. Govi reached out to me about a month before he was planning to pop the question with a plan to use Neha’s friends as a ploy to get her to the Matthaei Botanical Gardens in Ann Arbor. But with some chances of rainy weather on the day of the proposal, we changed up the plans and went with the University of Michigan Law Quad for the backdrop to his proposal.
Neha’s friends had invited her and Govi to an outdoor wine and charcuterie event in the law quad that wasn’t actually happening (dang it). Instead, when they got to the law quad, Govi dropped to one knee and after we took some photos of the two of them, out came all of their family! And, yes, she did definitely say yes.
